We enjoyed our visit with Grammy Edie and Grampy Buck in Florida. The week started out a little chilly, in the 50s but warmed up to the low 70s by the end of the week. Frankie loved exploring the garden and checking out the new koi pond! We made it to the beach a few times which was beautiful and had a relaxing week doing local things -walking to “brefast” and the Farmers Market, eating some yummy meals out, and seeing some cool flamingos at Jungle Gardens in Sarasota.

Our Valentine’s baby was born one year ago today, at 2:20 pm on the 14th of February. We enjoyed a family gathering yesterday to celebrate this occasion, somehow fitting the many Murphys and Schremicks into our tiny place. His first birthday was very special - thanks to all for his birthday wishes! We love you Frankie!

I had an awesome birthday weekend in Portsmouth with the Franks. We stayed in a hotel in the heart of Portsmouth so we were able to walk to everything very easily. I loved exploring the small city with its quaint streets and tons of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and pubs. During our stay there was a snow storm, but that didn’t stop us from venturing out and having fun. We also took advantage of the hotel pool (and all the space for crawling around). What a special getaway for my birthday. Thanks for all my birthday wishes, everyone! Meg

But seriously, when did he get so big? It seems all of a sudden our little baby is turning into a toddler. He’s crawling up a storm, pulling up to stand (on everything), feeding himself. It is hard to believe in just 2 short months he’ll be a year. Wow.
