Family Trip to Florida

We had a great vacation in February, visiting Grammy and Grampy Buck. It was a full ten days of fun ~ we even got to see Gramma Betty & Grampy Bob in Florida, who were staying in Sarasota. The trip was full of family fun – beach time and going out to eat, Sarasota Children’s Garden, St. Petersburg, and relaxing in Grammy’s magical backyard. We even got to get out for a date night or two during our stay. Lots of great memories – and pics!

January Snow

This is the one snowstorm where Frankie & Ellie got to play in this year. Frankie loved it – quite a difference from last year when he hated walking in it (well, he used to hate wind in his face too!). Eleanor was a little less enthusiastic with her red nose. But I got a few good pics in anyway. This was only in January (I’m playing catch up, here) and soon I’ll be posting summer-like pictures!

Bless Eleanor Ruby

Eleanor Ruby was Christened on January 7th at St. Matthews Church in Southborough. We of course mixed it up a little by having two godfathers, my brothers Chris and Kevin. Very unorthodox for a Catholic ceremony, but our family priest, Father Flynn, was cool with it. 
Eleanor looked like an angel in her white gown and ruby slippers, and didn’t mind the water at all. We were fearful that the church may fall down when Frank walked in, but luckily all was well that day.

Atlantic City visit

We finished our trip in Atlantic City, NJ where we had a great visit with Lolly and Poppy. We loved staying right on the boardwalk with the incredible view from our balcony. Frankie had fun with his Lolly and Poppy – going out to breakfast, playing with some new toys, and eating at Rainforest Cafe in AC. We also got to see the Gimblet family while we were there – Andrew, Ayn, Nick, and Sammy. We headed home after a week of travel, exhausted but with lots of good memories!

Visit in Folsom, PA

We spent a couple days in Philly, then headed to Folsom, PA to visit with Edie and Buck’s family. Diane and Tom were such gracious hosts, and it was so nice to see all of Buck’s family again. Frankie had much fun playing with all the new toys and taking rides on Tom’s scooter! Grammy treated us to a fantastic day at the Camden Aquarium (which is such an awesome aquarium, by the way!). The Hippo exhibit was the best – so incredible to see them dancing underwater!
